Remember... It is NOT "Black people just don't like each other" or "Black folks ain't got no ambition" or "We don't work together like other cultures" 

We have been SYSTEMATICALLY and INSTITUTIONALLY terrorized and attacked for at LEAST 2 centuries in the U.S. of A.

DO NOT believe the propaganda and lies... Find your tribe... Unite with them... Build that school... that business... that CITY you have always dreamed of living in!!

WE ARE... WE CAN... WE WILL.. and WE HAVE OVERCOME... We did it before... WE'LL DO IT AGAIN!

The Modesto Manifesto

Here are the four key components of the Modesto Manifesto, along with notes that Cliff Barrows jotted down in their meeting:

1. Honesty: "It was resolved that all communications to media and to the church would not be inflated or exaggerated. The size of crowds and the number of inquirers would not be embellished for the sake of making -BGEA- look better."

2. Integrity: "It was resolved that financial matters would be submitted to a board of directors for review and facilitation of expenditures. Every local crusade would maintain a policy of 'open books' and publish a record of where and how monies were spent."

3. Purity: "It was resolved that members of the team would pay close attention to avoiding temptation—never being alone with another woman, remaining accountable to one another, etc. A practice of keeping wives informed of their activities on the road and helping them feel a part of any and all crusades they undertook would be encouraged."

4. Humility: "It was resolved that members of the team were never to speak badly of another Christian minister, regardless of his denominational affiliation or differing theological views and practices. The mission of evangelism includes strengthening the body of Christ as well as building it!"

God STILL Faithful

I am definitely one of the most trifling and lazy thangs under the sun at times... it's a wonder GOD even wants to be bothered by my li'l silly self... but he loves me in spite of this and he is loving the HELL out of me and he doesn't stop because I'm not feeling my best. Thank goodness for that. I aced my computer test today and all I can say is... GOD DID IT!!! He causes me to do what I need to do... when I need to do it. Thank you GOD. ...for real for real... I need you... but you probably already knew that =)

Information Systems Technical Support Technician @Publix

ISTS Technicians keep store technology up and running so Publix can properly serve our customers.

Contributions

ISTS Technicians provide technical service support to Publix stores for a defined geographical territory. They do this by performing service calls, installations, upgrades and backups of software and hardware applications for computers and printers. ISTS Technicians also troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems. Another important aspect of the ISTS Technician's job is to maintain customer confidentiality regarding HIPAA, debit and credit payment records, PIN security, and ATM records.

Qualifications we look for

• Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• One year of PC/Technical support experience
• Be at least 20 years of age
• Possess valid driver license and maintain an excellent driving record
• Knowledge of Active Directory
• Knowledge of IT hardware and industry standards
• Knowledge of Windows XP / Windows 7
• Ability to troubleshoot issues
• Basic cable management skills
• Certifications in the field of electronics or Computer Science such as Cisco Certification, A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, HP Certification, or Lexmark Certification
• Knowledge of Publix retail store operations
• Experience using problem reporting and ticketing systems
• Experience supporting Active Directory, GPO, OU - access, rights, permissions
• Good organizational, time management, problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to be flexible and handle a high volume of work accurately
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadline
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

Lord, you are good and your mercy endureth forever. I am sitting in awe of what God has done and is yet doing in my life. I am asking HIM and HIM alone what shall I do? What steps should I take? What move should I make? I have been unemployed since June 6, 2015. I am in need of God's guidance. I am requesting my 401k to be cashed out to cover my bills and other expenses. I may lose my car and apartment, but I am waiting on the Lord and looking and searching for employment. I interviewed at Comcast, however, the training doesn't begin until October 12. Right now, I am looking at moving back home with my parents and going to FAU full time while looking for a job. God has already told me that the crying out in pain and anguish is over!!! I am still looking for work and YET I am happy that GOD IS WITH ME.

Medical Writer - If You Love Writing & Research - I

I know, I know. Many of you are thinking, "What?!?!?!" But as crazy as it sounds, some of us chose our college classes based solely on the fact that there were complex, 30-page research papers due at the end.

If you’re a left-brained/right-brained type who loves the science of research and the art of writing, consider a career as a medical writer. You'll definitely need a bachelor's degree and in some cases, potentially a master's. But keep in mind this is an entry-level salary, and once you get a couple of years of experience under your belt, there's even more potential to cash in.

Home & Hearth... my goals for home life...

So... when i think of my future... the way i will live in my home... this is what my mind's eye envisions (and i love lists):

1. arts and crafts room - knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, painting (water colors & acrylic) on a canvas - lots of storage and very organized... a sink area in this room would be fantastic
2. PETS - doberman, yorkie/pomeranian, 2 persian kittens
3. the study - library area or extensive room for book shelves
4. lovely dining room - room to "entertain" and feed ALL
5. decent but not decadent back yard - room for pool BUT NO POOL - the umbrella and screen protected table and chair
6. ample parking for company - near or close to the house
7. extra bedroom -- is probabyly... okay... definitely the arts and crafts room
8. LAUNDRY ROOM!!!! Washer and dryer!!
9. Kitchen with GAS STOVE!!
10. Hardwood / Tile Floor everywhere!!! ...i'll use the BIG fancy rugs in the bedrooms!!
