Weapons to Minimize Destruction

BeBe Michelle appointment yesterday was a long and arduous journey, but it was well worth the price point!

I received the ULTIMATE:
✒wash
✒deep conditioning treatment 😴
✒signature cut (healthy trim and actual shape)
✒curl definition
✒style

And MOSTIMPORTANTLY Advice: ✒henna is good protein treatment
✒REQUIRES weekly deep conditioning (with heat)
✒use 2 leave-in condioners:
       1. The spray kind
       2. The creamy kind
✒Use the Styler LAST

I can't wait to apply what I've learned to Mooka's hair! To infinity and beyond!

awesomely awesome and cheap leave in condishioner!!

I use a small 2oz. container.
Here are the ingrdeients

  1. Fill up 50% of the bottle with aloe vera gel leaving space to add the essential oils, jojoba, glycerin, and water.
  2. Next add 10 drops of two random essential oils and three to five drops of jojoba oil.
  3. Add a very tiny amount of vegetable glycerin if you air dry your hair. Either use only a teeny bit or omit completely.

Background Information:
  • Aloe Vera moisturizes the hair and keeps it soft.  It is packed with vitamin B12, vitamin C, amino acids, minerals, and salicylic acid.  It has been used for general hair health, hair growth, and also as a hair shampoo and conditioner.
  • Rosemary Essential Oil stimulates hair follicles, therefore increasing hair strength, hair growth, and for dry and flaky scalps.  It has also been used as a remedy for mental fatigue.
  • Lemongrass Essential Oil stimulates hair follicles and also adds a refreshing citrus fragrance to the leave-in conditioner.  It has anti-bacterial properties and is calming and soothing to the body.
  • Jojoba Oil is the closest oil to skin’s sebum.  Therefore, is extremely healing and moisturizing for the hair.  It is a non-greasy oil absorbing immediately into the hair.  This will help with hair frizz and dryness.
  • Vegetable Glycerin is known for being a humectant.  It is an amazing ingredient to add when air drying hair.  It is amazing for curly hair and really dry hair.  It should be used very sparingly so that it doesn’t create a sticky film.

Mudwash Recipe... borrowed from Naptural85... with a few $mutation$

i put this on here so i can look it up whenener i want using my phone but not YOUTUBE... just a lil lazy
  • aloe vera juice --> 4oz = 1/2 cup
  • morrocan red clay - from Vitamin Shoppe --> 3 teaspoons
  • rosehips oil --> 3/4 tsp
  • linden oil --> 1/4 tsp
  • nettle oil --> 1/2 tsp
  • any essential oil --> for the scent --> 10 drops
  • cheap color applicator bottle
i use any three oils i can find in the house... so far so good... as soon as i use up my shampoo supply... this WILL be my staple "goto" hair wash blend

http://www.fyecurls.com/... Regimen? ...should i try it... ...can't hurt...

...

Quick Summary:
•       I shampoo/cowash my hair weekly.
•       I do a deep treatment on my hair weekly (wrapped under hooded dryer).
•       I trim my ends as needed...usually every 3-4 months.
•       I moisturize my hair daily. Especially the ends.
Detailed Summary:
•       Once a week, before I shampoo/cowash my hair
–      four sections using hair clips
–      take down  each section and cleanse my scalp gently with H2O
–      Then add conditioner to each  section and detangle using my fingers only
–      let the conditioner sit on my hair while I finish my shower routine…
–      Rinse under a cool water shower stream with hair still sectioned
•       After shower… per section..
–      apply a leave-in conditioner then my hair butter and twist it up, or my styling cream or gel for a wash n set look…air drying is always best.
–      seal your ends with oil
Extra Help:
•       For clarifying à 1/4 Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with warm water. ( this rids hair and scalp of buildup).
•       For protein à henna or Aubrey Organics GPB Conditioner to deep treat.
•       For moisture à deep treat more often and seal hair with oil.
